Gladney families who have been through the process of adoption are uniquely positioned to share information, encouragement and support with waiting families. Couples waiting to experience the joy of adoption have the opportunity to meet with families who have shared similar hopes and dreams, and have experienced this joy firsthand. Gladney Family Associations around the country host:

• Casual social events for prospective adoptive families
• Monthly Meet & Greets to share experiences with other adoptive families

From diapers to dating, from terrible twos to treacherous teens, - the demands of parenting change with every stage. The Gladney Family Associations assist by hosting seminars on a variety of parenting topics. GFAs also provide parent-to-parent support and advice on everyday parenting issues, including:

• Parent education seminars
• Social events for adoptive families
• Age-based social events for children

GFA events are a place to build community, strengthen connections and just have fun. It is Gladney's goal that each family is enriched by the Gladney Family Associations and their services and that they reap the benefits of Family for Life.
