OnTheirOwn is a Gladney initiative that supports vulnerable orphans who must be better equipped to become successful, contributing adults in the world. The organization works to give hope to a child who will never be adopted and must someday live on his own. The organization works in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America

After Craig Juntunen and his wife Kathi adopted 3 children from Haiti several years ago, he concluded that the international adoption process was deeply flawed and that a good part of the blame could be placed at the feet of governments who act as barriers rather than advocates for children to find permanent, loving families.
